At Safe Travels Transport, LLC, we are committed to providing reliable, high-quality Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services to our clients in Indianapolis and surrounding communities. We understand that plans can change, and we strive to offer a fair and transparent refund policy for our transportation services.

This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted for services booked through our company and website at www.safetravelstransports.com.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued in the following situations:​

  • Duplicate Payments: If a client is mistakenly charged more than once for the same ride or service.

  • Service Disruptions Caused by Us: If Safe Travels Transport is unable to provide the booked transportation due to driver unavailability, vehicle breakdown, or other company-related issues.

Refunds are not issued for:

  • No-shows or late cancellations (less than 4 hours’ notice)

  • Refusal of service due to safety, non-compliance, or inappropriate behavior

  • Delays or cancellations due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, traffic, road closures)

 

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact our customer service team with the following information:

  • Full name of the passenger

  • Date and time of the scheduled service

  • Reason for the refund request

  • Method of original payment

  • Contact phone number and email

3. Refund Processing

If approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued.

Please note:

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card issuer.

  • If you paid in cash, a refund check may be mailed to your address on file.

 

4. Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees may be non-refundable, including:

  • Administrative processing fees

  • After-hours surcharges

  • Wait time fees incurred after driver arrival

 

5. Cancellations by Safe Travels Transport

If we must cancel a scheduled trip due to unforeseen circumstances or operational limitations, we will offer:

  • A full refund of any prepaid amount
    or

  • The option to reschedule the ride at no additional cost

We will notify clients as soon as possible in such cases using the contact information provided at booking.

6. Disputes and Resolution

If you believe your refund request was unfairly denied, you may submit a written appeal with additional details. All appeals should be directed to:
